The goal of the Meisner Technique is for the actor to give 100% of their attention to their partners in the immediate environment, working from their natural impulses.

To this end, the exercises for the Meisner technique are rooted in repetition so that the words are deemed insignificant compared to the underlying emotion.

About Jason

A modern-day Magellan & Renaissance Man, Jason is a published playwright, international stage & screen actor, award-winning director, and voiceover artist with over 20 years of acting training and performance.

He holds an M.Ed. in IB Education and an MFA in Writing for Stage and Screen. He has personally trained over 200 Meisner students.

Jason trained as an actor at the world-famous Actors Studio Drama School in New York City under Elizabeth Kemp, Susan Aston, Robert Serrell, Corinna May, and Michael Billingsley.

He is the Head of Audio at Honey to Your Ears.

With his wife, Svetlana Lasky, he is the Co-founder and Head Teacher of the Lasky Wellbeing Technique.
